Do I need to be an artist?
If you create - whether in the studio or in the kitchen - you are an artist!
Soul Food is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced artists. For beginners: full instruction will be given in clear, easy-to-follow instruction videos. More experienced artists can use the lessons as inspirational jumping off points, and adapt and embellish the projects according to their own interpretation or style.
The price seems kind of high...
You’ll be getting 2 video lessons per week for 26 weeks; that’s less than $5 USD per week for a lot of content, and have you seen the awesome Soul Food Faculty line-up?!
Can I pay in installments?
Yes!! You have the choice of 2 or 4 installments. Please look here for the details.
Can I gift the class to a friend?
Yes! You can purchase a Soul Food gift certificate - just leave a message to seller in PayPal with the name and contact email of the person you wish to gift the class to.
Will I have to buy a load of supplies?
You’ll need some basic supplies but we’ve put together a ‘generic supplies list’ with information about paint, mediums, and substrates etc, to help you choose. You don’t need to buy expensive brands to create something beautiful, and there will be lots of things at home that you can recycle as texture and mark making tools.
There’s a lot of content, what if I can’t keep up?
The content will be delivered over the first 6 months of 2014, then you’ll continue to have unlimited access to the class material for the rest of the year - that’s another 6 months of catch-up time, or time to return and play all over again!
Can I blog about Soul Food and share my work?
Absolutely! We’d love you to share your Soul Food experience on your blog. Feel free to share what you create; we just ask that you not share the instructors’ step-by-step process, as specific class content is intended for registered students only.
How long do I have to make my mind up?
The early bird offer runs until August 31, 2013, and after that, registration for Soul Food will close on March 31, 2014.
Please also note:
- You’ll need basic computer skills to navigate the class, and a high speed internet connection so that the video lessons will play properly for you.
- Please don’t share your class login information. The Soul Food Faculty work very hard on their class content, which is intended for registered students only.
- All sales are final.
