More ATCs... in progress
Last week I posted some finished ATC's and it was the first time I had linked up with PPF and Sunday Sketches in a couple of months. I had actually been feeling quite discouraged with my artwork and growth so I backed off from linking up or even posting. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to have the encouragement of other artists last week. Your comments are just so uplifting and greatly appreciated.
I've been on an ATC kick since those first ones I made. I'm having so much fun that I can't stop making them! Here are several in progress. I don't have anything glued down at this point, just trying out my options. I'm linking up to Paint Party Friday and Sunday Sketches this week. Thanks so much for stopping by!

DeleteWonderfully creative ATCs ~ great way to 'kick start' your art ~ Wondering if you know of any good ATCs Swaps online? (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteThere is a monthly group over at willowing.ning.com that I want to try out. You have to sign up for the site, but it is free. A friend of mine has participated in this one and seems to really like it. Also, I'm going to try out ATC's for All with any that I have available this time around.

ReplyDeleteFantastic ATCs. Especially your women ones. Love their faces. :) Encouragement and support is so very motivating and makes such a big difference.
ReplyDeleteDon't be discouraged. Just keep creating. The process itself is just as much fun as the end result. Don't you just love to find paint down your fingernails?

ReplyDeleteYour ATC's are fantastic! You've been busy. I especially like the soft palette of colours with the birds. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWonderful ATC'S I hear you about being discouraged!! Just because you don't have a new dress doesn't mean you won't be embraced at the party!! lol Just knowing people are stopping by builds incentive to create...eventually the muse kicks in again!! Looks like you are well on your way with this beautiful art!! I love ppf and all the wonderful artists!!

ReplyDeleteI'm like that too, when I start something, I make several--lots. I give them away or put them in my Etsy shop. But I have fun!!!

so glad you are back and posting regularly again... love seeing your work.... and the ATC's are fab...xx
ReplyDeleteOh these are beautiful and I love your word art!
ReplyDeleteAren't ATCs fun, fun, fun! I like your redhead. Does Wetcanvas.com still have ATC trades where 20-30 artists make ATCs, send them to, I forget exactly how it works, but you end up getting cards from each of the artists. I have a notebook full from when I took part several years ago - and I really treasure that notebook! And I have two ATCs that I framed and are in my family room. Happy painting!
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing all over your workspace!!!! thank you for the inspiration!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNoooo! Never stop making art! Never, never, never! It's a part of you now. Stopping would make you miserable. Add a little beauty to the world. :)
